Susan originally hails from Canada and has lived in Pennsylvania for the past four years. Susan practiced civil defense litigation for approximately nine years with the Illinois law firm, KMA Zuckert (formerly Kaplan, Massamillo & Andrews), serving municipal and individual clients and defending all manner of tort and contractual claims in all phases of litigation. She has also litigated individual and consumer class actions on behalf of plaintiffs, as well as multi-district litigation matters. She was selected for Illinois' Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2012 to 2016.
A graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, Susan was among those awarded the Order of the Coif for graduating in the top 10 percent of her class. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Susan served on Safe Humane Chicago's attorney committee for many years and remains a passionate animal welfare advocate.
She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Illinois, and admitted to appear before a number of federal district courts.
